Keeping a blog for the last few months has been an interesting and fun (although at times stressful) experience. At first, I didn't want to do it, because blogging seems increasingly "old fashioned" these days. But I ended up enjoying it. It was good practice to be consistent with my writing and to be brave enough to let others read it. And getting comments on my posts is always encouraging and made it more fun. It turns out to be more enjoyable than it is scary to have others interact with my writing.
The fun part about keeping a blog is that even though you have to be consistent with your content, it's informal and much easier to keep up on it than if you were writing essays or articles.
I probably won’t keep blogging after class- or at least I’m going to take a break. Most of my audience will probably disappear once they aren’t under obligation to read and comment for credit. The prompts given me to write about will also disappear. And with nothing specific to say and no one to say it for, I find it hard to keep writing on here. I also want to focus on writing other things for a while. I’ll keep my blog bookmarked though, and I’ll return.
Thank you to all my classmates who have read, commented, and given me inspiration for this blog! You all make it so much more enjoyable! =) I know you were required to read and comment on a blog each week, but you have been thoughtful and kind in your responses.
If you’ve been reading this blog, but not as a part of the class, then I encourage you to try it yourself. You might not like it, or you might love it. But you’ll never know unless you try it. You might be surprised, as I was.

Your blog, although I've only been reading it for a few weeks, has been a joy, I hope you pick it back up soon though! :)
Clara, it is always a gift to read your blogs! You have such a fantastic voice in your writing, and I hear it in your voice! I am so glad that you have had so much fun blogging, exploring this "old-fashioned" medium. I second the prospect of blogging: if you have not tired it, I highly recommend. It is quite a gift. And, Clara, if you do continue to blog, let me know. You have one loyal reader.

That's so funny you find blogging to be "old-fashioned," because for me it seems WAY to modern. Though to be honest I always thought blogging was something moms and old Christian ladies did. I didn't realize how many people still had blogs and that they are sometimes actually really entertaining.
